Day 46/365

2.8.2012.
Carefree.

Childhood is that little snippet of our lives where we are untouched by many of the evils of the world and can simply spend our days carefree without fear of what the future may hold. I love little kids of all ages and spend much of my time with them. I'm intrigued by the way they can be fascinated by the simplest things. There is a child at the daycare where I work that is obsessed with cleaning supplies, such as brooms, and will constantly beg me to let him help me sweep the floor; at two years old, he doesn't have any real worries or threats in his life; all he wants to do is help me clean up the room at the end of the day. I love spending time around children; I love their positive carefree attitude. Simply because they believe they can do anything, they inspire me to want to do the best I can in everything I do.
